Quick, Keto & Delicious!
Warmer months mean tasty berries are in season. And when a fruit is in season, it’s not only at its most delicious, it’s cheaper and more nutritious!
In Martina’s new book, Quick Keto Meals in 30 Minutes or Less, she included this gorgeous Keto Skillet Berry Crumble recipe. Among all the recipes, this one stood out to us because of how few ingredients it takes to create it. Plus, we hadn’t used our tiny skillet in a while.

We whipped up this super quick recipe in only 20 minutes. It’s an impressive dessert that’s low carb, sugar-free, gluten-free, and can be made without any added sweeteners! Those with sensitivities or allergies rejoice! The cooked berries provide more than enough sweetness in our opinion, though you can, of course, add a bit of stevia or erythritol to taste.
You can use any combination of berries you’d like – we decided on some strawberries from the farmer’s market, plus a bunch of organic blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The nutrition will differ slightly depending on what combination of berries you’re using, but as long as you stick to berries, you’ll end up with a low in sugar, high-fiber dessert that you’ll love.
Servings: servings |
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (or ghee)
- 2 cups mixed berries (we used strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries)
- 5-10 drops liquid stevia (optional)
- 1 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 2 tbsp butter (or coconut oil)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 5-10 drops liquid stevia (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- To make the berry base, heat a medium-size skillet greased with butter or ghee over medium-high heat. Add the berries and cook for 3-5 minutes or until softened. Add sweetener if necessary.
- Place almonds and pecans into a food processor. Add the butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract, sea salt and stevia (if using). Pulse for a few seconds until the mixture is chopped as roughly or as finely as you like.
- Sprinkle the nut mixture on top of the berries and broil for about 7-10 minutes, until lightly browned and crisp on top.
- Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve warm or cold with a dollop of whole milk yogurt on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Thanks for this recipe, I used 1/2cup ground almonds and 1/2cup whole almonds and added 1/4 cup coconut flour and used double butter with a 1/4 cup erythritol. A dash of calvados made my kitchen smell amazing. Delicious, thanks for the inspirationâ¤ï¸?Will have a look at your site, I have been keto for nine months and love the food. Everything I eat has so much more nutrition.
Can this recipe be made ahead of time? I’m looking forward to making it!!
Definitely! You could eat it cold too 🙂
Hi…I’m so glad to have discovered your site. Now that summer is over, do you think this crumble could be made with frozen berries? Thanks
Frozen berries should do fine! Give it a try 🙂
Could you tell me what a serving size is per serving. I love your recipes but, I never know what a serving size is.
All our macros are listed per serving. Under the macros for this Skillet Berry Crumble it says “6 servings”. That means 1/6th of the entire recipe is a serving. You can slice the crumble into 6 equally sized servings and eat 1 at a time (or two if your macros allow for it).
Hope that helps!
I tried this recipe using 2 cups of mulberries from the tree growing in my back yard. It was very good, but I think the next time I do it I’ll cut the salt in half and boost the butter to 3 tablespoons.
I only discovered you folks recently, but I have downloaded the Android app to my phone. Now to actually try more of the recipes! 😉
Homegrown is always best! You’re lucky you have a garden, Naleta. Thanks for downloading our app, hope you’re enjoying 🙂
Could I put a crust on these and make them individual? If so what would be the best sort of crust to use?
If you’d like, sure! But the ingredients needed for the crust are actually the ingredients used for the crumble portion of this recipe, plus an egg.
Love your site, lots of great info and recipes. I just started Keto after my adult son dropped from 211 to 139 in 6 months. I’m also a vegetarian, but I’ve definitely dropped the bread and potato chips! Thanks for your amazing site!
Thanks so much, Rachel! Glad we can help. Enjoy keto and good luck 🙂
