Ingredients

small yellow onion

small green pepper

ground turkey breast

(more if desired)

low carb tomato sauce

canned black beans
(rinsed and drained)

shredded cheese

sour cream
(to serve)
Instructions
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the onion and peppers then sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until browned.
Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Add the ground turkey and season with salt and pepper.
Cook until the turkey is browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, then stir in the spices.
Stir in the tomato sauce and black beans then simmer on medium-low for 10 minutes.
Adjust the seasoning to taste then serve hot with shredded cheese and sour cream.
