Ingredients
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh chopped basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh chopped thyme
  • salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Fill a medium saucepan with water until half full then bring to a boil.
  2. Add the eggs to the water, one at a time, using a spoon so you don’t crack the shells.
  3. Boil for 6 minutes then remove the saucepan from the heat.
  4. Carefully drain the hot water and run cold water over the eggs to stop the cooking.
  5. Peel the eggs and rinse gently to remove shell fragments.
  6. Place the eggs in a bowl and drizzle with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle with herbs and season with salt and pepper to taste.
