Ingredients
2poundsground beef
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1green bell pepper, sliced
1white onion, chopped
1Tbspminced garlic
1tspLawry’s Seasoned Salt
10slicesAmerican cheese
4eggs
1/2cupheavy cream
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
Add the ground beef to a large skillet and heat over medium heat. Break the beef up as it cooks to make smaller pieces. Let the meat brown. It does not need to fully cook, just get a nice browned outside.
After about 3 minutes of cooking the beef, add in the onions and peppers. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the Lowry salt and garlic to the skillet and stir into the meat mix.
Spread the beef mix in your prepared casserole dish.
Lay the cheese slices across the top of the ground beef mix, covering the beef completely. It is okay to overlap the cheese slices.
In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream. Pour the egg mix over the casserole.
Bake the casserole for about 30 minutes or until the top is a golden brown. Serve while hot.
