I was wondering what your thoughts would be on using Pumpkin in exchange for the Peanut Butter. Do you think the consistency would not set up? I’m searching for Keto Low Carb Pumpkin dessert. Or better yet a Banana Pumpkin Bread of some sort…thoughts ?
I can’t use any of these sugar free sugars. They all make me ill. I have tried monk fruit and also got sick. Is there anyway to use coconut sugar in these recipes and still stay in Ketos.
Coconut sugar is still sugar and not keto-friendly. Have you tried stevia? Allulose? Perhaps some of the Sukrin or ChocZero syrups?
You also don’t need sweeteners to be keto – you can cut out sweets entirely and be better off avoiding them. However, if you love sweets, don’t give up! You can find something that agrees with you 🙂
I don’t like peanut butter, can I substitute sugar free nutella – “nut-light?”
Yes, that sounds like a good idea! I would reduce the sweetener though, since sugar-free Nutella contains some sweetener itself.
How much cocoa powder?
2 tablespoons, as specified 🙂
Could this be done with Stevia?
Sure, I think so!
I just read that Stevia is sweeter than Erythritol though so may need less Stevia. Not 100 % sure though.
Stevia is an extract so it is about 300x as sweet as sugar! Erythritol is only 70% as sweet as sugar. You should definitely add a bit of stevia at a time and taste-test, it’s easy to overdo it.
