- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 10 ounces fresh chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- salt and pepper
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant then stir in the spinach.
- Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until it is just wilted.
- Stir in the heavy cream, cream cheese, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the cream cheese melts.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve hot.
